I'm annoyed so I'm rambling on

The land of my fathers is dear to me. But I must admit, the ruddy rain is getting me down. Should have gone on holiday abroad this year.

The land of my fathers is dear to me. But I must admit, the ruddy rain is getting me down. Should have gone on holiday abroad this year. The autumnal weather is one thing, but the dreadful news on our screens is another that is spoiling this summer.

There are endless reports of gun violence among teenagers in London, and incidents of assault by gangs on innocent people. I’m beginning to wonder what’s wrong with the country. And this morning I read about the Italian who murdered somebody in Britain will not be deported because it is against his human rights? The law that is support to protect members of the community favour criminals. Why does a criminal not forfeit their human rights when they fail to observe another persons human rights?

The police are completely ineffective at tackling young gangs that hang around street corners, threatening and intimidate good people. They are in danger of encouraging vigilante justice if they cannot police effectively. And this is happening very close to home after the beating of a man who confronted a gang in Pontardulais.

Governments are not completely incompetent if we are totally honest, but I’m really beginning to wonder whether agencies like the police force are. The Welsh Ambulance Service is a prime example of incompetence. The less efficient they are, the longer they are delivering patients to hospital, which must result in deaths. Professionals like these NEED to do their jobs properly! I’m sure there are many examples of where public service professionals are working hard for the taxpayer, but we can’t live in a country where Ambulances are too slow or where it’s not safe to walk the streets at night.
