I'm Ryan Thomas, a data analyst. This site is where I write about Welsh politics, work through data that interests me, and occasionally post something that is neither.
Posts are mostly in English. Some are in Welsh, marked Cymraeg, and those aren't translated.
Charts and data
Every chart here is rendered as a static image at build time, so pages stay fast, and every chart has a table view so you can read the underlying numbers rather than take my word for the shape.
Party colours have been adjusted from the official brand colours. The standard ones are not distinguishable to colourblind readers — Plaid Cymru and Labour in particular are nearly identical under the most common form of colour blindness. Party marks are also always labelled directly, so colour is never the only thing carrying the meaning.
